Love the style! Gameplay's great fun too! :) Man, I would've loved to done fx on a game like this. After a few years working on Champions definitely makes me appreciate stylized art for games along these lines, allows for a lot more fun in the design. :)
I actually like ravenslayer's overpaint. Why? Curves in all the right places. It still looks sufficiently stylized without pushing into the uncanny valley too much, especially those hands and feet, and oval eyes. ik vind die paint-over well goed.
Penis's increase views here at polycount, everyone knows that Looking forward to this, sick base so far and love the concept  I think I agree the shoulder pads seem a bit more slender in the concept, not sure if you're stylizing it up a bit tho.
Interesting tut man, thanks for sharing! I'll have to go through it later. Only other thing I would worry about is that the brow line is fairly un-pronounced and the skull structure is a little off, but if you're going for a stylized look I think it works.
This is fantastic work. Shows your texture painting skills, and knowledge of a modular workflow. Beautiful. True game art. I see this being used for an awesomely stylized FPS-style dungeon crawler, less of a Diablo isometric game. A fly through video would be awesome.
"Im so fkn mushy" I literally lol to that one. Its got like the proper comic cloud and text. haha Looks cool so far though, I can imagine the techy arms with the stylized comic character looking really bad-ass!
Hello from a neighbor. (Huntsville) Excellent work, very stylized, defintely reminiscent of Warcraft style, which I love, and hand-painted to boot. I remember seeing some of your sketches on the NA3D forums also, nice stuff. Keep up the good work.
Google kids faces and bodies. Stylized is not an excuse for doing things wrong. Just wanted to tell you that it's still looking pretty wrong, because nobody else did. Sorry, got no time for more detailed comments and I'm too late anyway as you said.
I always loved the Skinshade 4 MatCap from Zbrush, especially for stylized/anime characters. I don't know, but it really fits well with the anime characters and it really makes them stand out. Here's my attempt to get it looking like SkinShade 4 in Unreal using my old Cammy model as an example. Please let me know if I was…
That sounds like a great idea! If you havbe an extra screen, you can use a free app like Daz to place a generic model that you can zoom and rotate around for reference while you sculpt. Stylized is good but if you are beginning try nail a generic sculpt first.
