Some of you have 'em. Some of you worked on 'em. So let 'em rip! Also, any good games you have found? Discoverability is a bit of an issue on the platform. I'll do the first shameless plug: Pirate Pop (disclaimer, it's mine :'( ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsJ5t-qD_f0
New character time. This started out as just quick worgen sculpt. But I really liked where it was going, so I'm continuing. Also I decided to jump Blizzard properties. Because, why not? Anyway. This is Alpha. The space wolf, bounty hunter, assassin, pirate... guy. Super rough armor concept.
On straps in general: I am going to go out on a cg historical limb here and submit that the strap explosion of the 21rst century officially began at the dawn of the century with the very first popular CG challenges ( space pirates, apcalypse ) particularly the influential styles of pascal blanch
Ya, that happened (is happening) to anyone with a pirated version or is still running the release candidate. I've had a real copy for a while, but was too lazy to reinstall. No biggie, I'm just finishing up some programs (and steam downloads) now on the new install, and it's all workin again.
Are you trying for a specific time period? (e.g. modern, WWII (Casablanca/Operation Torch), Barbary Pirates...) Or generic? Picking a specific time could ultimately let you personalize it with subtle details to help tell a story, rather than just presenting a set-piece.
In any case, although there are major brands of IT industry and Video Game Industry standing up against it, if this bill passes on successfully, people will find a way to get pirated stuff just like they found a way to get weed. <.< Tho, I am also sure that it will be scrapped soon.
Hi, Just want to share a Pirate-Chest I created for a game in development. The modeling process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEmZN-r1pjM&list=PLpPd_BKEUoYi1ha6w28SUq7iYa1NC719E&index=8 And the animation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlYQp8pJqwk&list=PLpPd_BKEUoYi1ha6w28SUq7iYa1NC719E&index=11 Thanks for watching!
Sounds good. Apple is doing this now too with their app-store on OSX. This is interesting too cause they say they'll sell software for macs as well, so that means they're directly competing with Apple on that. Now they just need to add music and books, and they could compete with the pirate bay.
Hey thanks guys. Yeah I do plan on taking a break from that environment (I need to do an exterior and vehicle) and finish that cartoon pirate ship. After that I was thinking of looking at exterior buildings using modular pieces and that fancy UDK building-maker-thing.
