hi i have a project i`ve been working on and since tonight whenever i load it it shows me the mesh and textures. then has the red bar loading at the bottom and once that reaches around 80% sp2 just crashes . i submitted the crash report but is there any way to uncorrupt the project?
The ray distance should be as far as the biggest difference between your low and high poly model- so, probably not much. If you make it too much, your rays could accidentally project into something unintended. Are you using 3ds max? I've tried baking a screenshot into a plane mesh but the texture from the bottom are grey. any ideas why? the textures projected fine on the top across the model, but there is an issue when projecting, its not projecting exactly 100% correct. Here are some test screenshots.
