Hey guys have been modeling a bolter from the warhammer 40 000 universe for a while now, and thought id post up some screenshots of the low poly for some crits/feedback. Any and all feedback is appreciated thanks, big
Anyone able to dig up tutorials on how to animate stuff and exporting to MD2/3 format for me? Only know how to do bone-based stuff. Using max 7/9/2008 btw. Thanks in advance. <3
Sure, probably best to make it on the original post since that's where I'd be updating it. https://polycount.com/discussion/210040/character-art-zhou-yu-battle-of-red-cliff-2008

Found this KeyPose thing. http://jungsbluth.de/magnus/blog/2008/08/01/keypose-flavour-your-screencasts-with-shortcuts/ I have not tested to see if it works, but it may be a start.
ah forgot to add that its a unused concept piece from Hellboy 2. http://superpunch.blogspot.com/2008/05/depiction-of-three-headed-dog-that-wont.html Its not my anatomy.
I'm sure it's all about timing and exposure. If the same poll was taken back in 2008 I'm sure one of the banks or insurance companies would be on the top of that list. AIG anyone?
Second Son is supposed to be around 120k for the main character http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/21382/article/infamous-second-son-used-120-000-polygons-per-character/
Erm, yeah you could get them in 00g, but you wouldn't be able to see much detail. Still, not much point going up in sizes for the sake of a greentooth plug!
