if you know blender you can easily adopt all the stuff done in max/maya to blender most modifiers only have a different name, but do the exact same thing
@kosh_fotsirk I love your Lucina character, and I was messing around in blender testing some stuff, then I decided to render her in Blender cycles and this is the result... What you think ?
So here is my batch with the help of Blender : http://www.froyok.fr/blog/2013-04-fbx-exporter-for-udk-static-meshes-maya-to-blender-fix It fix the vertices count problem :
uhh im running wings, i just dl'd blender at school (i got dialup), now im not sure if blender does normal mapping or not, but if i does ill try it then.
That roadmap is kinda disappointing when considered against Blender's current feature list and library of addon's. Especially since Blender is free and Autodesk get's away with charging 100+ dollars a month.

I'm going to see it more of a representation of how the durian team have grown artisticly individually, and their way of using it as PR for blender, rather than it being a representation of what blender is capable of.
If the cost of Maya is prohibitive, you should just remodel the assets from scratch in Blender, it would force you to get better at Blender and you would have a workflow for future assets.
