Well, I've been a Punisher fan for a while but I'm not up to snuff on the rest of the Marvel universe. I'm looking for an environment piece or object to do over the weekend, next-gen specs (well I guess it's current-gen now), something a Marvel fan would instantly recognize. I'd need to get it done by Sunday night. Sorry…
stop comparing iron man to spider man.... spiderman wasnt made by marvel. it was contracted out... ironman was made by marvel... and what do you know, it was WAAAAY better than spiderman. ironman 2 looks siiiick
I assumed dejawolf was making a sarcastic remark with regards to the marvel court case against city of heroes? It seems kinda silly to think they would ask one guy on a forum to take down his marvel drawing.
X-men and Spidermna were made by fox, who like to fuck shit up. All the other marvel movies are actually made by marvel productions and are a lot better, still just popcorn movies but pretty enjoyable.
Marvellous Designer. The 3dsmax cloth sim is pretty basic and not going to do complex things like wrinkles around the zipper, but Marvellous can handle stuff like that. It just take some setup time and know-how.
Not sure about how competitive it is at Avalanche. I don't work there. :) I work at United Front Games. We worked with Avalanche/Disney/Marvel to make Marvel Battlegrounds. Good luck with whatever you're doing and thanks!
We use rough scanned data for the pores of the face. But rest is sculpted. We also begin textures with a scanned layer, for the faces. As for the clothes, it's done with Marvelous and zbrush. The main shapes are made in Marvelous, and the detaling and refining in Zbrush.
