Iconic Marvel location/environment

Well, I've been a Punisher fan for a while but I'm not up to snuff on the rest of the Marvel universe. I'm looking for an environment piece or object to do over the weekend, next-gen specs (well I guess it's current-gen now), something a Marvel fan would instantly recognize. I'd need to get it done by Sunday night.

Sorry for being coy, I'll let you guys know what's up in a bit (probably shouldn't of blabbed about it on #model_design)

Danger Room, Magneto's Metor M, Xaviers School, Forges Workshop, Sentinal Factory. Those are extremely recognisable as they have been all over the cartoon series, movies, and comics.

the problem you'll face is that *every* writer and artist interprets iconic settings differently. you might get a little cohesion after they've been in a movie, cerebro for example, but they'll be changed once more in a few months. the fortress of solitude changes between futuristic and crystals pretty much monthly.

if you're doing a room, the danger room, reeds lab or dooms throne room might be worth trying. for a building, avengers tower with sentrys watchtower embedded in the top (the watchtower part gives it a really distinctive silhouette) or one of the shield helicarriers. if you want something bigger than those, the triskelion from the ultimate universe would be good.

lol, I kept calling the Danger Room the Hazard Room but CheeseOnToast takes the cake! All that shiny metal in the Danger Room should be fairly easy to do (I hope) and if I have the time I'll have a holographic battle zone half fading out, a-la Xmen 3.

It was a return to doing environments, that I have not doen in years.. but it showed. PSII doesnt' work in a Next Gen World. Expecially given obnly a week.

thanks guys, this was basically something a little extra to show off but I had a septic tank disaster over the weekend.

I'm working on the art test now so any suggestions for marvel gags I could put into an alleyway scene? I already have graffiti tags for Stan and Morlocks, I was thinking of doing a Shepard Fairy Obey poster of the punisher skull, maybe even a "Blob has a posse" stickers
