My dad, at the age of 47, has beat every single RTS game I've been able to throw at him, and on hard too. Not to mention HL1+BS,2 and GunMan... He can even kick my ass in Total Annihilation!
no thumb version = best personally this is how i like to view a portfolio, just scroll through all of the work at once, it should all be worth viewing, so i like to take it all in without needing to click back and forth 47 times.
does CSGO allow normal maps? Or is it all strictly specular/diffuse based? Pretty nice skins, by the way. I always like this minimalist tri-tone feel as opposed to the over-the-top, whacky AK-47 skins. cough Vulcan cough
Hey guys so I'm going to try and give a complete progress thread a try on a new personal project. Character name: Tugsy Whos is Tugsy: 8 - 12 year old postapacolyptic orphan Where is he from: The Streets Favorite Hobby: Skate Boarding and AK-47s Color Concept
Using Maya 2011 I'm using Mental Ray, and under the render settings I have the frame range set from frame 1 to 47. Then when I go to Batch Render, it starts rendering, gets up to the very start of the 3rd frame then stops. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks for your reply. I am in a total redoing of textures. The reference I use was this one. I found this AK-47 on the internet with a wornout texture style I like. He did not mention who he is but anyhow I think it looks good.
I've always said that it's the little things that matter and in this case that is true. Kudos for actually modeling an AKM like you said you wanted to and not an ak-47 mislabelled as an AKM (or just mixing parts from random Ak models) looks very good so far
I did model my AK-47 off several different sources (Mistake I admit), the gap in the front side was circular, but I'm going to change it, and the gaps on both sides of the main body where different from the source you showed me, you see Birdhouse's AK-47 (third image from the top), I want my AK to look exactly like that.…
I'm at the 47 hour mark. I'm having a great time with it. About the Yazmat (in japan, thats how it was spelt) boss... the dev team made that as a salute to the the great Yasumi "Yazz" Matsuno who left the helm of the project in the fourth year of development. Yaz-Mat, awesome eh?
Dimitri Martin has a great but short bit about "Super Busy Hospital 2", where you have to fix up all the guys who were shot in other video games. "Please be quiet, I'm performing surgery on someone who was shot in the head 47 times.
