Here are the steps:
1. Decimate Shoe in Zbrush for faster machine speed and export to Topogun
2. I import the decimated shoe into Topogun and rough out basic faces for each group of laces.
3. I import the basic faces into Maya then extrude.
4. I crease curtain edges so the corners will retain there shapes when I smooth. Also makes for good quads when I send it to Zbrush.
5. I use the smooth display in Maya to get an idea of what the volumes will look like once I smooth them twice.
6. Once I'm satisfied with the forms I smooth twice and export to Zbrush
7. I import shapes using Subtool Master and make any last form tweaks in Zbrush.
8. Then I do a quick sculpt pass with the clay brush to give it some tension wrinkles.
I will get to the top laces and bow tie later after I put on the duck tape that will be wrapped around his shoes.

Things left:
1. Skate Board, Don't know how Im going to attach it to the backpack yet.
2. Machete, Don't know where I'm going to put it yet either, probably in his hand.
Can't wait to see the hair.
One thing, im not a big fan of the tshirt. The rolled up long sleeves in the concept give him a bit of an aggresive look. And the collar of the vest made gave his body alot more shape. Right now the shoulders are really just flowing between the lines of the arm and the neck. In the concept the shoulders have theyr own horizontal line, which also adds to the aggresive look.
I love the way the shirt is tucked in though, looks great!
Its look really awesome!
maybe add some bolt/nuts to hold the trucks to the skateboard deck?
I added a trusty role of Duck Tape to his bag. I also redid the back pack straps as well I wanted to beef them up they were looking pretty small now that I have the skateboard and big shot gun in. And yes I know hes bald, I won't do the hair until the low res.

Looks very cool btw, and im sure that whatever colors you decide on it will look great.
I also scaled up his "Seat Belt" belt buckle, and made his shoes even bigger. I thought scaling up his shotgun and shells worked so well I wanted to push the scale even further. I also wanted to really see his belt buckle.
I will probably start creating the hair card rig tonight. I want to get back all the spikiness and messiness of the concept.
Here are some progress shots.
