Hello all, I poste my project today "Oak Mantle Clock" for general feedback to the modeling, bake and uv. I created an artstation page for the marmoset viewer, I find it easier to judge because I don't know if we can put it on the forum ! 🤔 https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4X0vP1 Thank you for your help !
Hey guys, I modeled this little clock I found at the antique shop a few weeks ago and put it into marmoset. I'm just looking for critiques on my texturing and rendering as I'm trying to get in as much practice as I can before school starts back up. Any feedback is appreciated!
Long time no post! Been busy working on this guy non-stop, here's the low poly with a base texture pass in UDK. He clocked in at 9,996 tris, just short of my 10K budget (same has the Helghast in Killzone). More to come soon.
As a part-timer, rewinding the clock back I'd quite literally shout into my own left ear... "shed the self doubt and procrastination you dufus and just DO IT!" ...would've been a less bumpy road if I knew then what I know now.
Sorry for the lack of communication on this front. We have been working around the clock getting this ready for you guys not only on a software level but also the server load level. Thanks for hanging in there and we hope that you guys enjoy the beta once it drops!
Ah cool! I've got ~500 hours clocked in on BF4. Unfortunately DT stutters like crazy for me. I really like the map though! So did were you responsible for adding the bridge collapse/mudslide? Or is that someone elses job?
Cheers for your replies, I might go with static images then but with a moving camera in a video otherwise i'm going to have render round the clock for like days or maybe weeks seen as how I want 4k images, why wouldn't you want 4k?
While we wait, check out: X-3 http://store.steampowered.com/sub/12985/ (clocked in well over 400+ hours into this game, tons of mods and user generated content)(slight learning curve, but worth it) [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PKEcn1S5Ug[/ame]
I really doubt it's streaming. The tablet is basically the system, as evidenced by the cartridges going into it. There's probably two power profiles, one for mobile and one for docked, where you get a higher clock speed with ventilation/cooling when plugged in. So it's a hybrid, the way I see it.
