Forest of doom was my gateway drug. Loved the ff books when I was a kid. I quickly learned the technique of bookmarking several pages with my fingers while reading :D
Awesome work! Im starting a pretty large forest soon, seeing some wireframes of the trees and plants would definitely be awesome ;) . Also whats the average polycount for most of these assets? Thanks!
Update, started working on the forest area of the landscape, testing the tessellated stone wall material using a bridge mesh. I got few other rock and cliff meshes in the scene as well.
Hello everyone. I'm currently working on a Deinonychus for my prehistoric forest scene. I'm not really sure what to do in terms of sculpting skin folds since I'm not too familiar with ZBrush. Any comments or critiques are appreciated.
just finished this, my 2nd vray project pretty happy with it overall, learned a whole lot about post production and the render elements output. gonna go back and re process my forest holiday scene now.
Going to finish off the attack animation for this character then start modelling the next environment which will be a forest style scene, then I will get into VFX which I haven't done in Unity before so it will be a big learning curve.
This month I'm working on forest landscapes, painting foliage is hard. Anyone know where you can get good foliage brushes for Clip Studio. I bought several brushes off gumroad, but they looked tacky.
I like that forest scene in your last post! You should do a 2D platformer or something... maybe using Construct2 :D It would be awesome. Sidenote @ Suba: Your avatar, haha! That's awesome. And kinda hypnotic.
Looks great man. If you're gonna keep him hipoly, throw on some fibre mesh and get some better renders. It'll be worth it! And I still think a blurry forest background would look awesome ;)
