I have been tooling around with the basics of the major 3D packages, and now I'm looking to focus on a workflow that will let me do most of the modeling and texturing in a single app. The game companies I hope to apply to all use Zbrush, but they are split between Max/Maya. I am on a part-time contract job until June, and…
Easterislandnick I think all you have to do to bring the image into zbrush is to go to the texture pallete and hit load and apply it to an object. In zbrush 2 this was a bit crude for my taste, that said you should be able to either make a plain or use their cube to use as your 3d tool. if you go into edit mode you can…
I am pretty new to Z-brush and not sure if this is the correct way to do this , so I am going to explain what exactly I did: 1: I made a model in Google Sketchup and exported it to obj format. 2: Imported to Z-brush. Model: https://s17.postimg.org/hgjnr3okv/model.png Model with polyframe on:…
I've imported an OBJ object into Zbrush (pre UV unwrapped) and I understand now that OBJ files don't transfer UV's to Zbrush? So I was trying to import a Maya ASCII file for the same object to transfer over the sculpted detail onto it and then export. When I import it into tools in Zbrush, it imports one part of the file?…
I dont get whats going on. It looks like z brush is putting a circular blur on my alpha which is much undesired. Ive chcked the alpha itself and its there are no greys which would cause this. Help?
http://polycount.com/discussion/115351/smoothing-out-edge-borders-in-zbrush Does this help? There are other smooth brush modifiers you can play with aside from the Min Connected one.
I've stored a morph target and then sculpted on a layer. Now it seems that my morph brush isn't working. Do layers interrupt morph targets? I've tried baking the layer info but that doesn't work either.
I spent the last 5 hours trying to remedy this problem or find a work around, I can't find anything online that will help me, I keep getting single faces that have incorrect UV information/Borken UVs (but only a few faces, not the entire mesh) Here's the Mesh in Marmoset: The bottom is directly from Blender, the top is…
