@BIGTIMEMASTER Thank you for your feedback. I'm really glad you captured that detail in the concept art. I completely overlooked that part while comparing the concept art with my project. I agree that it is a key element in this scene that I should have in my project. So I went ahead to crooked or move the buildings,…
I tried the Pen and Touch on someones laptop and it had small amount of delay between using the pen and something happening on the screen. Very slight, but enough that it was a tad disappointing. My cheap $40 (used) Huion H580 tablet has almost no delay what-so-ever and i would describe its precision as super precise and…
I am doing something unique and modeling a zombie :) and it got me thinking, in essence you may want to get images of decaying bodies and corpses in various states, how exactly would you go about this? Would this somehow be illegal (I honestly don't know, visitng shock sites comes to mind) and also if your working in an…
Update: Figured I may as well have a polycount thread as well for my ArtWar submission. https://forums.cubebrush.co/t/art-war-3d-the-saws-mrhobo/1940 So I figured I would constrain myself by being over ambitious for the competition, instead of one character Im doing a team competing in a futuristic mech based combat sport.…
Probably you already moved on. But some thoughts.. 1. I just make UVs thinking of strips, this depends really on the shapes that you are using on your Trim Sheets. Generally i think of Trim Sheets as a normal map with a group of strips with bevels. You can do other complex stuff that i still hadn't figured out such as a…
Thanks for the c&c man that was really helpful. I think the title "abandoned" was probably ill thought out for this one, I was thinking more recently abandoned and then occupied for a couple of days by people seeking shelter. So according to my reference and timeline it wouldn't have been all that decayed. Having said that…
Looking pretty solid. I played the game recently, and I'm assuming this is supposed to be Bill's bar eh? I found a concept of the scene here, and really like the distribution of props and whatnot throughout the scene, and just how much trash is scattered all about compared to the natural decay of the space. I'd love to see…
We have earth quakes localised entirely in our building. Theres something very dodgy going on with the foundations and from time to time the building will shake quite violently... probably nothing compared to a real earthquake, but given the age of the building and general decay of the structure, I think its only a matter…
I'd recommend you use more smaller textures rather than 2 fairly large ones. I'm assuming that the texture you have used for the railings is on one of those large textures, hence the entire texture will be 32 bit to support the alpha. I'd have a wee think about the character of the building. It's not new, the roof hole is…
