A scan I did last night. Many of the surfaces are shiny and untreated which is causing problems. The cast iron block and the matte aluminum oil pan look really really good. 240 photos process to a 14 million triangle mesh by reality capture in about an hour. I'm going to get a junk engine and spray paint it for a better…

I tried to go loose with this one without being indecipherable. I figure each brick would be separated by a season or generation of technology as Liandri combatants never get too old. Devestation, for example, was brand new during UC2. [Edit: Timestamping doesn't appear to work for links. 14:45 for Devastation, or just…
I used 14-16 sides on the cylinders. I did some quick calculations and found out that I would have more than enough polys with that number of sides. I'm more used with models around 3000 polys so I probably went overboard on this. Thanks, will redo the shoulder, I wasn't sure about it myself.
Oxy: His point was that sex can be wrong. Now movies/games don't make someone do something, but it can sure influence them. If a 14 year old girl from a low income family has sex, gets pregnant, can't support her child, has to turn to drastic measures... well you get the point.

It seems we had 8-bit, 12-bit/14-bit (DSLR RAW images) and 32-bit floating EXR images....but is there any reason to see anything else beyond this? Is it tecnically or inevitable that there will be 64bit images in the future? Just…
