Hi everyone! Nfinite is looking for a 3D Simulation Pipeline Engineer to join our team for a paid remote role, and we thought this would be a good place to reach specialists with experience across both 3D tools and simulation workflows, so we hope this is relevant here The work focuses on converting production-ready 3D…
If you are or any one is getting any "brand name" versions. I usually watch repair techs & they have .02's to add to the internal workings of which cards(companies) are good in comparison to the others, 1 & 2 some helpful information for the longevity of your products & when to check/change "pads/paste", are also mentioned…

Ok, update. Tried making the rust more colorful and tightened up its edges with a histogram filter. Think it really helps define the look. Ran into a little problem with the rust though. The blade of the sword was a solid 1 of full metal, and the rust on top was a full 0 for non metal. Problem with that is the rust gets…
Still a very confusing topic for me but from what I learned is that most programs now, like Substance, Xnormal, and Knald all use Mikkt space as the tangent space calculator to bake normal maps. Maya and 3ds max use a different tangent space calculator to bake normal maps. If you are exporting a mesh from Maya/3ds max to…

Thanks again! I think you're right that they don't look great on that one but I think I have a better solution than getting rid of them altogether - The reason I don't want to do that is because then the roof would have a very sudden and straight edge - which is to fix their actual location which I seem to have messed up…
yeah zbrush is quite a beast out of the box and is nothing like any other app.. so while learning it you really have to throw anything you have learned from other packages out the window.. its a slow start but once you really dig into it, it will make more sense than max or maya.. i really hated the interface at first ..…
Substance Designer has only pretty useless smart tiling similar to "detect edges" in Alchemist . ( 7:11 in the second video) As of Alchemist it has a few promising features like Content aware fill (9:47) and clone but I never found it really helpful . They both deteriorate somewhat natural look of photogrammetry scanned…
