I'm having a difficult time getting the proportion right. If i place the rooms flush against the roof below, the roofs above dont look long enough (at least for the big roof) -

Hey Seforin, cool barn house, do you think you might get same results for the roof if you just used 2 tri planes and put separate pieces at the bottom trim of the roof? or are cuts like that more common when you have a depth to the roof? The biggest difference in any sort of cultural architecture is the differing degree of technology and building material. One of the special things about eastern asian construction in particular is their lack of suitable stone/abundance of great woods really drives the framing elements of a building and the rice paper… -

Yea i started to set up the side angels that are holding torches so i threw a few red lights to see what it would look like and yes it is a very good mix. As for the roof the light is actually in the glow orbs and passing through the alpha so that's why it isn't hitting the roof. I'll probably throw a bounce light in there… -
