For my university project, I'm making a Victorian-styled living room, and I'm hoping to have a more realistic-leaning outcome for the project.
This initial post is a mixture of my first few weeks of progress [ Week 1 & 2 ]
For my main reference, I am basing my angles and overall room setup from this artwork on Art Station, made by Jen Ingertila. (https://www.artstation.com/jenniferingertila)
I'm also referencing other artworks for model references and potential lighting and mood, but those are more supplementary at the moment. ![]()
I am hoping to make my own twist to this interior, so some items are not a one to one recreation, and I plan to add and replace some interior assets here and there.

As of my current WIP, I focused on making block-outs for the individual assets first, so the assets I have so far are non duplicate items. I plan to create the duplicate items (such as books, book shelves etc) later down the project weeks. ![]()

As I am replacing and making my own twist to this scene, I have yet to solidify a hero asset currently, but I do have some ideas in mind.
Feel free to comment anything regarding my progress and executions as I will be learning, absorbing information, and improving myself from all the relevant feedback.
