I'm currently working on a scene where I want some blue ambient light, but the only actual light sources in my scene are torches and braziers. Is there a way to make the central marble floor ignore the blue light sources I'm using for ambient light? - Because right now the reflections of the light sources are unjustified…
Always wanted to do an Orc. This was a short weekend project that I took from reference to completion in roughly 12 hours. I spent a lot of time with the shader and lighting on this guy. It was fun to experiment with high contrast lighting setups in Marmoset. I realized just how important a great lighting setup really was.…
Wayback Machine has it. https://web.archive.org/web/20130508184237/http://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/learn/character-lighting I suspect the old tutorials use outdated workflows, so they were probably just not worth the effort of updating.
