Hey guys, i imported a box from max into zbrush with Goz and divided it a few times until its on 24k active points. because i want to bool with other obejcts using dynamesh i need to dynamesh it ones before to get control of my active points. but when iam using dynamesh the points count explodes to 1 million or higher. i…
Try using Dynamesh Master plugin. It resizes the mesh dynamically to best size before applying dynamesh, and spits back the mesh at the previos size with the dynamesh result aplied. But I think this got fixed in newer versions of zbrush, though I'm not super sure.
Looks like you are dynameshing at a too low res0lution to retain detail. If you want the forms not to melt together then Dynamesh with the group option in Dynamesh on. However for printing your mesh should be hollow (as far as I know) which means it has to be a single mesh.
You can activate sculptris button . it would just add triangles where necessary on the fly including smoothing or use dynamesh for the whole model . Zremesher is for low/ mid poly shell generation to bake things on.
Now I get it, but I started using dynamesh with the resolution of 64 to get the shapes and only raised the resolution of the dynamesh, it's 280 now, this is wrong?
Dynamesh it. Because the topology of the mesh is the issue. Poles (where 5 or more edges meet) aren't good for sculpting at all. Dynamesh will fix all of that.
