do you have any plugins installed on 2009 that aren't on 2010? i remember installing orion flame, and it broke dds file support. i had to uninstall orion flame to fix it
it's the flame texture overlay which is present on some items. It's defined in your vmt. I don't remember exactly the name of it but you have to delete the line or put it in comment. flame overlay something ?
This is my "flame blower" that I have been working on. Originally the project started out as a leaf blower, but then I had the idea to turn it into a flame thrower. This will be another game asset in my portfolio.
The major thing that I see is that the burst of flame and of smoke really don't change size enough. The flame in particular should start really small and quickly grow to a size that almost completely fills the view, then it should fairly quickly shrink to a pinpoint and die.
