Trying to import from PhotoShop CS6, already made my UV map. Trying to export to Maya 2014-2016 either one. My Static mesh is not showing UV map image? but instead just showing the mesh? where did i mess up at? I enclosed 3 images in a zip file, of screen shots of Maya and Photoshop. Thanks for the help!
After reset my prefs in maya 2009 and replaced some of the mel,shelves etc Maya started to acting wierd. I tried to drag .dae file into Maya and I get this pop up window. I did what it told and import and get this problem There is no dae object in maya view port so what is the problem?
Hi! How do I get the UE4 default mannequin to Maya? I've seen people use the mannequin as a measurement guide in Maya, but I have no idea on how to import it to Maya. Can someone smarter than me help? Google didn't give me results so I figured maybe polycount would.
Simply put.. Boolean in Maya sucks. Too much rules and things to watch out for. Wont work properly for me on anything that isnt a simple model. That what maya couldn't boolean I easily did in another modelling app. Anyway my question; Do you guys now a plugin for Maya that does booleans properly?

There's a feature in Maya that I miss in Max. Locking polygons, or Feeze, in place as you work on other portions of the model. Does Maya have a freeze option in it?
