I just updated to the latest version of bridge having not used it for a while. I've reconfigured my folder structure and installed the scripts from the resource zip. Shader imports are working fine, atlas imports are working fine but 90% of the time 3D models are met with the following errors. I did manage to import a…
So I call this Ceruleon's Throne: Assignment was to create an environment for a game. I chose a world of warcraft boss room. Feedback appreciated! I've hit a roadblock and can't get past it. Also how do i get things to render in Maya in no lights mode?

Hey all, here is a quick wippy from UT3. I decided to make the scene less dense because previously it was cluttered as frak. Some of the textures and models are missing, but i feel the dramatic lighting works far better in here than maya. This is before my package became corrupt, le sigh.
i use maya. sometimes when i bridge the mesh i sometimes get a hole, even if on both sides vertices are merged. nasty thing and hard to see. can you upload that part of your mesh and i can check. i'm pretty sure your mesh is corrupt.
FIXED....Yipeeee!!! All of a sudden my maya file got corrupted, some of it's edges just vanished and there were overlapping UV's.I made new faces as suggested by Butthair and problem is now solved. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Pretty happy with this result and all pumped up to import my other creations into the UDK as well.…
This last shot looks like the normals on the that leg section are totally incorrect, not just showing a seam. Try to invert the green channel, but only on that one leg section that is giving you issues. Its possible the "handness" tangent setting in your maya object got corrupt from the separating and merging and what not.
Always dream of whatever it is I'm working on. Usually solving problems too which is always nice (if I could remember them properly the next day) I like them mostly. Unless its one where your working and its looking really nice then maya crashes and corrupts the file... :p
Hello this is my hi-res model; Using maya. Normally for models like rocks i was using Meshlab. It was working good but for a model like this meshlab giving me lots of unnecesseary geometry. I need to retopo this by manual. The important part of this model is; Whats the best way to retopo that type of damage, corrupted…
@hueyang When things like this happen, you'll want to check the script editor for errors. In your case some UVs got corrupted, which gave this error: "Invalid use of Maya object "ind"". Maya still doesn't recover from this error, so the rest of the scene gets borked on load. Having a .ma file made this an easy fix, you can…
