11/02/2019 Continuing on with the verticality, I expanded the environment outwards and upwards to form structures. I also walled the complex in so that there is a definite end to the area. My making use of new kit elements to add a bit more detail to areas around the level: -

If its only basic painting i would go with mudbox. Its still one of the best handpainting tools out there if you need UDIMs. If you try it dont use the 2019 version there are some bad bugs. Until 2019.1 is ready i recommend 2018.2 -

Wow that's pretty impressive. So why is the price difference so major between the two types? On Amazon it's listed as $472 and $279, a $193 difference for just one inch? Or is there something else I'm missing? Cause otherwise the 23" one goes on my buy-list. -

This started out as a few broad strokes which turned into this rock texture: Im still not sure if the levels are reading properly, it looks fine on my monitor, but on my cintiq (the original 21x grey ones) it looks dark. So Im trying to balance a happy medium. -

That looks like a great tool, thanks for the link... alas, it appears to be in python and I just have Maya LT. Now that it's 2019... well, for a little bit... does anyone know of a tool like that in Blender? On a quick search it looks like the other app that has it is Softimage, lol.
