Heads up folks.
Adobe just got hacked resulting in the personal data of 2.9 million users, including credit card details, being stolen. http://www.latimes.com/business/technology/la-fi-tn-adobe-hack-20131003,0,4679524.story
If you're using Adobe products (is anyone not?), it might be worth considering getting new credit card numbers and the like.
It's too bad, I'm hoping to hear that the information was still encrypted in some way. This has happened numerous times now, it's good to see that companies have learned from the infamous sony hack that the best way to deal with this stuff is transparency and quick action, so their users can protect themselves.
But at any rate, I think this might be the dumbest analogy I have ever heard, even for a tech reporter, which is saying something:
"The hackers also illegally accessed source code for numerous Adobe products. That's like stealing the secret formula for Coca-Cola."
