I´ve had issues with my right hand for many years now. It started in November 2011, I couldn´t hold a potato chips, not to mention wacom pen (that I had to tie to my index finger to be able to finish a project) - not a carpal tunnel, not a problem with ulnar nerve and other than "your problem is extraordinary" I didn´t get…
Have lots more geo. Imagine your mesh with some subdivisions, and without that problematic vertical sharp detail - once everything looks correct, you can easily get that vertical sharp detail by pulling an edge without much support loops.
Greetings, i'm trying to simulate the behaviour of an object which position is ensured by a torsion spring. My goal is to achieve a bar that is on a vertical position and when is pushed, rotates until a certain angular position, if that push force stops it returns to its equilibrium position (vertical). So any ideas how…
The part right under the nose needs to be less sloped and more vertical. Also the ears are sticking out way too far and need to be located closer to the middle and less to the rear. Perhaps rotated more vertical and brought closer to the head.
@Vertical - Thanks Vertical, you're right. I should give it some more zazz. I'll update it as soon as I can. Question, how do you edit recorded fraps videos so it doesn't show the whole screen?
i prefer collapse. it's much faster for welding single vertices. but for multiple vertices, i go for the weld button "conveniently" placed in the middle of the geometry panel. bah. every day i just want to learn maxscript more and more.
Ok, that will help. Thanks. Just one more thing...After I create that bag as separate object, what kind of connection should be between bag and model? Should that be completly separate objects or bag should be attached to model (with no common vertices), or they will be attached to each other with common vertices?
This is interesting. I would love to know how that works? I never flipped my monitors vertically so far, but I can't imagine how the UI of max, zbrush or PS will look vertically. IS it not to narrow? I am also going to try your suggestion for the stool. Thanks :)
Nice these are great suggestions! I'm gonna try a vertical mouse too i think! Anyone have any solutions for pain between the thumb and index finger from "pincing" the mouse? Vertical mouse still requires this. I know regular breaks too, but any other alternatives?
"Oh, how do I add control vertices where all these planes meet together in these strange curvatures and angles and at starred vertices?" Keep in mind not everything needs to be connected especially if you're going to be baking this out to a low poly. Look up floating geometry that will help tons.
