The only odd spec I've read about the Nexus one was on Slashdot claiming that "only 190 megabytes of its total 4.5 gigabytes of memory is allowed for storing apps." That seemed a bit odd to me...
I also thought the lax security was a little odd, but then I figured that the group was well within the sights of any security hidden from sight. I still have to read 119 through 123.
I'm really excited for this and was happy to put some money toward the project. I like the fact that they met their goal of $1.1 mil in around 30 hours. The more classic-style isometric rpgs, the better. :)

[ QUOTE ] GDC was worth it, imho. [/ QUOTE ] but would it still be worth it if all you could afford was the 195$ expo pass, considering airfare and hotel would drive the price up past 1k$ anyway?
Oh, that is a VERY old Xnormal tut from a while back. Things have changed a bit for me since then. I am planning a full Normal mapping 101 course in the near future.
Is the pen nib-consumption on the new intuos pro really that high? I have a Huion GT 190 with 9(!) Nibs and i never replaced the initial one within 2.5 years :D
I'm preparing the 0.3.0 with some optimizations but I'm waiting for OpenCL 1.1 to come. OpenCL 1.0 has some problems, the drivers are not yet very mature and the current ATI's implementation is a bit scary.
