I caught this sunday night. Wow, what a great movie. One of the only films recently that I would consider genuinely scary. All the teenage girls in the theater were either screaming or crying throughout, which pretty much makes it instantly awesome. For those of you not aware, here's the trailer:…
Hello , At CRYTEK - (game FAR CRY ) I've found Normalmap previewer. I don't know but maybe You will find this Normal Map - Poly Bump Previewer useful , looks good, works fine and easy to use in format .OBJ . Just try it. http://www.crytek.de/downloads/index.php?sx=polybump
Hi guys! After a little break, I started working again on this micro scene. I decided to continue with the Cry engine 3. Right now, i just transfered assets and textures, and played with water, material and lights/postproc. I need to bring the blends back, and continue :)
Any criticism on the animation?Any mistakes in my character's movements;I know the audio/sfx could have been better.Does the rendering look okay or it would have been better with other game engines renderers like udk or cry engine? Would appreciate any feedback.Thanks.
I'll jump in, seems simple enough to finish the entire concept this time around. Still fiddling and willing to finish Novembers entry, I've spent most of December learning Cry Engine 3 for it. Might get this one into CE3 as well. Here is my block out so far.
I just bought Far Cry 2 for the third time, so that I don't have to spend 2 minutes taking it out of the box and putting in my dvd drive... damn you steam. Though now I get that awesome exploding crossbow for my pc version :)
Noob question: If we're putting this into UDK or Cry Engine, then this scene should be made with the intention of putting into a video game, so it should have as low of a polycount as possible right? I ask because the 3d version of the scene posted early in the thread seems to have a massive poly count.
You just want to get touched up by Kat. :P I've seen a man and woman getting tattooed on the same spot on their chest at the same time, and the dude was about to cry and the girl looked like she was getting her nails done. Those are cool tats you posted.
Will never finish Far Cry and I think that I will never finish Doom3. I finished Mafia on PC but I cannot finish it on XBox. The last level in the museum is just too damn hard. I have spend hours on it and it pisses me off that I can't finish it.
Oh boo-hoo, cry more. Its not as bad as the endless cycle of internet rumors says it is. Remember XP? The Memory Hogg, just Bling-Bling "iffects" on top of the awe-inspiring win-2000? At least Vista added some functionality over XP in that it supports 64-bit.
