At CRYTEK - (game FAR CRY ) I've found Normalmap previewer.
I don't know but maybe You will find this Normal Map - Poly Bump Previewer useful , looks good, works fine and easy to use in format .OBJ .

I played around with it while working on a mod with some of the Crytek guys. Didn't work for me. But the example files included looked pretty cool.

It's a cool viewer, I started using it almost two years ago. My only gripe with it is that you can't change the background colour...
