Hiya, i'm finishing a game engine and I would like to hear from experienced game level designers about a serialization/persistence problem. imagine I have a class called "Pet" in python: class Pet: def EmitSound(self): soundDrv.play("genericPetSound.wav") then I inherit two classes... Hey guys, I’ve just took part in a game project lately. It’s my first game project and I know this one is merely for experience more than the money. I did the animating for characters. First let’s talk a lil bit about my workflow. My animating workflow includes 3 main steps. The first one called blocking which carries the…
You say you're a junior in college looking for an internship, but you describe your role in the first project as "senior animator". That's weird. Unless you have a very good reason for that title, just call yourself an animator. As others have said, trim down the list of non-industry jobs to your current one. Make it very…
I guess I could change up my workflow to have animations in separate psd animations and then paste everything into a spritesheet with all animations. That is quite nondestructive and could speed up the animation workflow. Looking forward to try this out when you are done! :)
Lovely!! Love the fluidity of the animations. The creatures, humans and animal animations are so very nicely done! So rare to see combat animations so nice to see here! It's very cool, would love to see even longer fight scenes from you!

My plan is to create a…

The game combines top-down shooter and tower defense mechanics with…

My main focus is stylized, hand-painted characters – that’s the work I enjoy the most and where I feel strongest. I care a lot about readable silhouettes, clean shapes, appealing colors, and personality in…
So I added animations for two handed ranged weapons tonight, just have the reload animation left. After this I'll either do death animations or continue with some other task since I'm quite bored with animations at the moment :D Try it HERE
This is at level 25, attack speed plays the animations much faster, but things are moving along, animations work perfectly* in game. Although the animations themselves are merely blocked out. What you're looking at is three new attack animations, the double strike is really really rough.
