Hello. I'm having hard times with hard surface modelling. At the picture, thick edges need to be preserved when smoothing, so I added extra loops. The problem is that I don't know how to resolve the upper intersection neatly. Currently there is a little pinching. Any ideas?
Are you asking how many texels are needed for consistent model coverage? Wouldn't that be simply how large your model is and texture RWS (real world scale) pixels/units of measurement is?? So if your area is 1024 inches square, and your map is 1024x1024, then your RWS is 1 texel = 1 inch. If you want 1/2 inch resolution,…
Looks solid so far, the texture is pretty bare bone tho. Also try making the rubber more matte in gloss. You have a huge pinching error on the handguard on the front there Which game is it gonna be ?
Yeah i understand, you can already paint directly on a mask, but it will dissapear if you enter dynamask after that, so its not yet non destructive. But it can be done in a pinch, better functionality for this is coming soon!
looks awesome, however, I'm not liking those cracks at the spikes. They stop too abruptly, I would recommend you do some subtle pinching at the ends of them to make them look more natural.
wow looking MUCH BETTER! the chin seems a bit too wide though. and the cheekbones still look like they are too pinched in. id widen out the cheekbones and move the top part of the chin inward a bit.
looking fricken awesome love the way you did the "leather", and it looks like you might have a seem down the center, like the pinch at the top of the sternum and then running from the bat symbol down to the belt
Couple more that I did. I started to experiment with other tools in Zbrush for these, apart from the 'standard' and 'bulge' brushes. Started using 'pinch' and 'flatten' 2 hours each for sculpts from the low poly...
Can someone point me toward a good tweak tool script/plugin for maya that has quick smooth access (like the move tool in zbrush)? Also, anything similar to maxs connect function (w/ pinch and slide built in).
I have a 24 inch at home, and thought it was good. But at work I have a 30 inch, and now when i sit at home it just feels soooooo small. The 30 inch has a nice refresh rate, and I think they aren't too bad for the price. Spark
