I don't think I've ever been so angry at reading something on Polycount prior to this... Granted it has no chance of passing (I hope), but still the fact that some idiot(s) taking industry bribes (campaign contributions heh) is planning to put this forward to a vote... all while the soldiers need to come home, the economy…
hiya, time for a new personal project, this time I'm basing myself on an existing concept, namely this one by Tekka-Croe: http://tekka-croe.deviantart.com/art/Ice-Planet-2002-182670740 I'm just out of blockout phase so I figured I'd post it to check if there's some glaring errors before I actually start detailing. Gave the…
So when I try to load your XAF file, it says it wants to use "Plane002" and your scene has "Plane003". So if I map 002 to 003 the file loads, but there is no animation. I guess your object was modified after you saved the animation. If I simply save the baked animation right after I open the file, then everything works…

Ex 1 : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rR2weE This guy made the high poly in zbrush first, then textured it in substance. But won't this make a unique material for…

I am currently a third year and I'm a mature student studying for a Masters degree in Games Design at Sheffield Hallam…
Fantastic work and wonderful discussion surrounded this challenge. It's been great to see the progress as well as the perspectives on approaches for ways to achieve certain things. I hope everyone came away from the challenge feeling as though they've grown a bit and to those who are still working to reach that finish line…
SLIVIZ said: "I have no subdivisions on the model so I used the zrmesher method to create a low poly version of my model. I then created a UV map of the low poly subtool of my model, copied and pasted it into the high poly subtool and hit morph UV to check it. The uv map lost all its shape and was basically a mess."…
