Yea, see you're trying to figure out why so many people think this is hot about 40 years too late: The trouble is, they knew her way back when. HL2 is the same way, the fact that you can find any kind of enjoyment in such an old game is pretty amazing.
http://www.handplane3d.com/help.html#curve try increasing the Max Curvature and PIxel Sample Radius. Start with Max Curvature of 150 and Pixel Sample Radius of 40 or something and take a look if your result gets the way you want it. Than bring your Pixel Sample Radius down to a good result.
It depends on what kind of work you do, but it will not be a lot (I personally consider "a lot" as a more than 50% increase). 1050 is faster than 750 Ti roughly by 30%. May be not worthy of £40 premium. If 750 Ti is much cheaper for you, you'll be fine with it. Just look for 4GB version.
I've sunk about 40 hours into it on my own server and have gotten quite a way through the levelling system. It's definitely fun, but still has a long way to go. Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finally out of early access and could be considered a complete game :)
I get this often, from stress. It feels like I need to 'crack' something, to get me neck back in shape, but it's really muscles tensing up. Once I get through whatever is stressing me out, things seem to go back to normal.... for the record, I'm 40 too ;)
Hello people, I'm currently working on the main character for an UDK FPS game in development. The character is a painter that is around his mid 40's. I made a concept first.(The hair will be a bit different on the model, more like Bruce Willis in Die Hard) and now i am working on the highpoly mesh. I am looking for crits…
Maybe some of you SoCal cats can help me out. What are salaries like for character artists in the Los Angeles area. Particularly those people with a few years experience under their belt? According to "teh interwebz" cost of living is %35 - %40 higher than where I'm at now. I'd like to see if pay evens out as well. thanks!
Hey Lovely Poly Counters, just thought I'd Throw some WIP renders of a couple summer projects I'm doing. One is a 40's/50's style detective office and the other is an homage to the compound bow in Far Cry 3. Any Crits and suggustions would be much appreciated , Thanks! [IMG][/img]

Saw this over the weekend, what a freaking hilarious movie, even more so than wedding crashers. i dont think i have laughed like this since i saw something about mary, i had my doubts about Steve Corell leading the film, but he pulled it off. Paul Rudd had a great performance too
