How can I get this? _^_^_ Can this be done with materials or options, or hack scripts? What I want is to be able to hide or remove edges form one model but keep them for another? The detailed version is sculpt, and the obvious lower detailed version is the new topology. Help!
Hey ppl, Does anyone know an easy way to copy the vertex color information from the red channel to the alpha channel in maya? (maybe sombody knows/has a script or something?) I could do it by hand, but that takes ages... Thanks in advance!
Per title, what are the modern replacements for these old scripts to work correctly with more modern 64bit Max versions? What skinning tools are being used other than the default? Also, anyone tried this? http://www.raylightgames.com/xrayblendskin/XrayBlendSkin.html
This has caught me out once to often (usually when creating a high-poly from a low), its a real nuisance. Is there some sort of script or tick box to change it?-thanks in advance... [Max 2014 User]
Figured you photography nuts would like this click here for CHDK ads a bunch of functionality to your camera like bracketing, motion sensing, the ability to run scripts, etc... I particularly like the abillity to hack a remote trigger together through the USB port
I have a problem with a 3DS Max 9 scene which file size increases each time I save it. There was a script or command for older Max versions to clean the scene from garbage. But I can´t remember it. Can anybody help me?
For Maya there is a plugin similar to snowfx for blender, you select the faces and generates snow: https://www.highend3d.com/maya/script/snow-factory-for-maya You can also go vanilla and use nparticles: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/X0950
Are you talking about MassFX (which uses PhysX)? It's been mentioned that Parameter Manager lets you bulk edit properties on similar objects. Maybe you can try that. http://www.neilblevins.com/cg_tools/scripts/3dsmax/soulburnscripts.htm
What version of 3DS Max are you using? Check if you have the latest service pack installed. If you're using 2012 then try this nitrous texture tweaked: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/nitrous-texture-tweaker
Thanks for the links, really useful! Didn't you work on a lowpoly hair script for Maya? I think I saw it a few days ago on yt and it looked awesome! But it seems like I can't find that video anymore :/
