i like the progress...one thing eyebrows. go to google and type gothic girl under images. I am currently working on a goth skin for my dragon chick and there are lots of good references
I've started putting armor on that mesh that I made earlier. The design of the armor is inspired by Guts' Berserker armor from Berserk. Just the arms right now. The base mesh is 2078 polygons, the armor is 1484, and the total is 3786. critiques or comments?
Thank you davidosterlind, I put that environment on hold to learn maya as i thought it was more important and making a Gothic church in maya, posting progress on statue sill need to work on the face hands and feet
Yo! Thought I'd might make this tiny new thread to showcase my new main image for this environment in UDK. Would love to hear any feedback on it because I am very curious ^^ Newest Update: Last Update:
She do have different proportions in different games, she even have different clouths sometimes. And it's not even the uber original I'm going for, notice she has a belt with a buckle? I'm doing a gothic version of her.

I'm just about done modeling the high poly, but I find myself thinking it's a little lackluster. I'm going to bring parts of it into zbrush to beat it up a bit, but even still it feels like it doesn't have…
I'm still very much learning 3ds Max and modelling in general and after perhaps biting off more than I can chew with my first project I've decided to reign it back and try and model something for UDK from a photo reference I took recently. This is a Gothic Cottage and I'm at the initial blocking out stage. I plan to make…
I think your normals are too rough for the stone surfaces, ive been to quite a few gothic style cathedrals and the stone of the pillars are always smooth with minor chips and rough areas at places like edges. The floors suffer the same problem, they are too rough, if your cathedral is intended to be old then the floor…
Looks like you're off to a good start with the ship and docks area. The city itself appears to be quite small for what you're planning to work into it though. If it's like the Vatican then you'd be wanting Baroque references for the most part rather than Gothic.
