I use some Rubbermaid modular shelving supports and a 16" x 48" shelf board. Hangs on the wall, adjustable. Mounted the monitor on the wall with a VESA bracket with a tilt and pan. Added a stool and it's a dandy sit/stand desk.
I got: Purchased for mom: and a whole bunch of T-38 Stuff for dad. Pilot training Videos and flight manual on DVD, 1-48 scale model, poster, art print. Now just need the GF and friends.
Sounds like a material problem. Is the 48 showing up in the bitmap parameters? Try resetting the scene, then reset the material editor slots, and save maxstart.max in the Max root folder. Everytime you start Max it will use the settings in that file.
So a few of us entered the IndieSpeedRun challenge (make a full game in 48 hours). The ISR people have just opened the doors to a month of playing and voting..keep in mind these were all made in 48 hours, with random themes delivered to everyone at the start..should be a lot of downright wacky things in there! Check out…
The polygon distribution is not even, the front barrel tip is abot 48 edges around, the big hole the scope looks through only has 24 edges around and is bigger. The lense reflection disortion can all be done via a normalmap.
So, finally i managed to find the original artist behind this concept !! his alias name is Torture_Device !! and here is his deviant page http://torture-device.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=48 I really wanna give the credit to him for this artwork.
For something like this I think you'd want to make a tiling texture and base it around a specific kind of mesh. An awesome example of this is what Jessica Dinh has done here: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1686072&postcount=48
Well, I did as much as I was able to do. For 48 hours, I don't feel too bad about it. I just hope it was worth it. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Azy1h0SypU4"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Azy1h0SypU4[/ame]
It went well! My random theme was 'construction' and my element was 'ninjas'. I think the game I made turned out decent enough for a 48 hour scramble, but boy did I make some ugly art and even uglier code!
One last post to back up my point and I'm moving on. http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/seperate http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/seperate http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/seperate http://dictionary.cambridge.org/results.asp?searchword=seperate&x=48&y=3
