Off Road CAmper - WIP
So first post under my new profile. This little guy is based of a concept piece that was so graciously given to me over GDC by Pete. Its a heavy duty Camper/SUV type truck. This is my first serious attempt at a wheel based vehicle. It is also my first foray into marmoset. Below is the original concept. -

UE3 or 8MonkeyLab's Toolbag show-off?
Since UE3 is now free for personal use and many studios around the world use it in daily production, I was wondering if it's a better way to display your portfolio work versus setting it up in the marmorset toolbag? Any thoughts on this subject? -

Looking pretty cool man! The only thing that catches my eye on the shotgun is the grip thingy below the shotgun. (excuse my lack of weapon terminology please. =]) There seems to be some pinching going on. I would have probably modelled that piece "flat" myself, subdivide it once, so it has enough geometry to play around… -

Sorry man. My fingers got away from me, there. There's no gloss. Really, if all you need is a greyscale value, you could assign that to alpha/self-illum, if you're not using those. Actually, yeah. Hmm wasn't sure if you had solved it. No worries. As a follow-up FYI/FFR... the UV's edge-loop for the head and torso sections where they meet at the neck (seam) are difference sizes, they use different amounts of texture space. This causes the problem you had. It can be 'fudged' with textures but unless you make sure both… -
