Yeah, I wish it did. Running another script that checks influences, even when I set a limit in ngSkinTools, ngSkinTools seems to exceed the limit as well.
I would try contacting the developer and ask for help. Have you looked at the script editor / output window when running the plugin, are there any error messages?
afaik that stuff is still not exposed through the scripting API could you use a smart material to set up a template and just replace the textures for each material ?
I'm having trouble hotkeying the eyedropper / colorpicker in Maya's 3D Paint Tools. I've pulled "art3dPaintCtx -e -pickValue `currentCtx`;" from the script editor, but it doesn't seem to work properly. Help would be much appreciated. -kp
Hello all! I need to create a camera that can rotate on the spot, while following the players pawn. (Like in Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of cortex, Anyone?) Is this possible in kismet? or would a bit of unreal script have to be used? Thanks!!
Hi, is there an option to create a script which turns EACH of the SELECTED groups to one single object respectively (collapses the objects in each group to one object), and preserve materials (collected to multisubobject). Thanks R .)
Does anyone know of a script/plugin that would make this possible? I'd like to be able to collapse modifiers down to top Edit Poly modifier instead of just the base Editable Poly, but afaik it can't be done by default in Max.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a way (script or otherwise) to lock the color info of a given vertex. I often get an area of a mesh painted the way I wanted, but then accidentally destroy it when painting near it. Doh.
I was under the impression this script automatically created your selection mask instead of doing the whole process manually. When I ran it all I got was this error and the programming code opened up....
