In 3DSMax have only a Multi/Sub-Object material applied to the whole thing, and have different IDs set up and assigned to whatever you want. Remember to delete the IDs you don't use because the default Multi/Sub-Object has 15 IDs (I'm not sure, but they might show up).
Not a max user but don't you just (in the uv editor window) click where it says All IDs and change what material ID you're viewing? I assume the model has multiple material id's for each seperate texture, that's why it works in the viewport but you're looking at all the UV sets at once.
Yep just like in max man. Gotta make each material for each sep id you create. That is kinda the whole point of seperate material ids other wise we would just use the one mat id and single texture. You got normal maps and spec for all this as well?
like erik "said", id look into marmoset, or even the realtime shaders for max/maya. id say the presentation is alright. i may ditch the background and maybe go with just a simple gradient. generally id make it a habit to put images on your website instead of just videos. its better for quick viewing.
