I agree with a lot of what you are saying but I think using that picture of Arnold is a problem. There are drastic differences between bodybuilder bodies and actual fighting bodies. Stick with fighter references, and not bodies for show.
Yeah I am putting off the face till the last minute because it will be the hardest thing to do. haha We will be trying out Arnold. Heard some good things so we will see.
hey everyone! here's my latest renders.... modeled in Maya, detailed and textured in ZBrush. rendered with Arnold for Maya. here's a link to the model!! https://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/1653784 i hope all of you like it! Thanks!!
Hi ! This is my latest project , A fan art of Power Girl, I made the design combining the different styles in the comic with a modern touch, a really fun project made in Zbrush and render in Maya with Arnold. Hope you like it
Yeah it's doable. Depends on the renderer, I guess you're wanting to use Arnold? Or something else? Be aware that UV seams can cause all kinds of headaches with displacement, and various renderers have different methods to "fix" it.
Recently Finished Personal Project, Warhammer 40k fanart, Emperor of Man, Zbrush, Maya, SubstancePainter, Arnold, Nuke Practice for the ntire pipeline, C&C apreciated. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/PmARan
It looks like the current 2018 render engine is Arnold , So search for that instead. You should be looking for "Self Illumination" or "Emissive" material properties .I cant help you anymore than that
Does anyone know why it's so different openGL vs iRay in both supposing to do same physically based rendering and energy conservation. Same Evee vs Cycles or Octane or Arnold etc. And only Unreal does it more or less close to what all offline renders do. Mostly in its architectural visualization template although? That…
Basicaly what i wisht to obtain is this: With Arnold i have "diffuse reflactions" tab and vray Maya "diffuse texture", i try to use override mtl in vray 3ds max but without the desired result.
The only thing that 'd help you I'd say is a good toon shader ! I don't know about real time engine, but vRay and Arnold both has pretty solid toon shader. Cheers!
