Mental Ray Tutorials and .mi
Hey, I'm trying to learn Mental Ray so I downloaded the book tutorial from the mental ray site, but it just gave me a zip filled with a bunch of .mi files and a few other ones. Anyone know what .mi is for and how I can use it? Or know of other tutorials for it? Thanks. -

To RAID or not to RAID
I've got three 1 terabyte HDDs and Win7 64 bit. I'm thinking of doing a reformat and setting it up as a RAID 0 (Striping only) and having an online and offline backup set for my data files. freeze ray rifle!
I'm working on this freeze ray idea i came up with. The upper part of it shoots out the ray to freeze people then the lower barrel can shoot out a metal slug to shatter the frozen person. Dark Knight blu-ray
If you have a HDTV and a blu-ray player you have to own this movie! OMFG its the definition of eye candy, hell its better its eye sex! Every time it switches to the 16x9 imax film i have a a nerdgasim from the sheer amount of detail for my eyes to soak up. Anyone else pick it up on blu-ray? -
Baking AO with Mental Ray ...... HELL!!
Hi there again! So I've been able to bake AO using the Skylight method in 3DS max 2012.:) However, the results are not as good as Mental ray.
