Dark Knight blu-ray

If you have a HDTV and a blu-ray player you have to own this movie! OMFG its the definition of eye candy, hell its better its eye sex! Every time it switches to the 16x9 imax film i have a a nerdgasim from the sheer amount of detail for my eyes to soak up. Anyone else pick it up on blu-ray?

Yeah I picked up the special collectors version from best buy with the robbery joker mask. pretty sweet little set up and hours of extras. Will be digging in this week.

Film doesn't have a "resolution," it's analog. Imax film is bigger, so it holds more detail, and it survives the transition to digital better. The short answer is that Imax is more HD than 70mm or whatever.

It's on the xmas list, so I'll have to wait. Plus I just bought a PS3 for myself for xmas also, but made an agreement with my wife that I would wait until Christmas to open it

If I don't get this movie as a gift, it will be one of my first holiday purchases

Picked it up yesterday, watched last night, AMAZING. I thought the Iron Man blu-ray was an incredible transfer, Dark Knight is INCREDIBLY good.

Also it's being re-released in theaters, I think in IMAX as well, January 23rd. Aw yeah.

Got this one for free at work, but traded the Blu-ray version for the regular DVD-version so I could gift it away for Christmas..

Good movie, but not super impressed by the whole 1080p thing, but that's probably because I watched it on a 24" 1080p screen. Difference from 720p is negligible hehe..
