The giant bolders are too smooth and blobby. They look fine in the distance, but up close you notice the simplicity and lack of detail in them. Your AO is punched up way to much. In addition to what others have said, I'd suggest putting some of the paint back on the surface of the armour. It doesn't look so much beaten up as almost entirely stripped, ready for a new paintjob.

Hey. Thanks for the feedback and the reference. The reason they are, as you said, defying gravity, is becuase in the concept she is wearing an armoured corset type thing which holds them up, but I will absolutely spend time getting this right. Thanks again.
Nice execution bringing the style into 3D, I find it really interesting that you've added some reflectivity to the armour pieces, though I think the dusty texture overlaid onto it is far too realistically styled
The head seems to have more of a flap than a shell/natural armour thing like it does in the concept. Looks pretty fly for a turtle guy though :D Also: Are you going to make a hi-poly?
