Hi guys, I'm relatively new to texturing stuff and what not, but when I saw SP2 I thought I'd give it a try since it's able to give almost seamless overlap in textures and it also has a lot of generators that make your life easier and your workflow/texturing faster. But like always, there's a catch, since this program…
Ok, just finished taking an asset through the painting process. Everything works, I can paint, bake and make custom materials. You can have 16k in viewport if your card supports it (Substance is 4k displayed max). And that alone is awesome as I can make my trim-sheets in the 1k x 8k size. Coming from V4 to latest, I can…
As you can see on my screenshot, I used 1024x1024 resolution in Unity. It's showing 256x256 in Designer because I have the material's outputs resolution set to relative to parent, meaning I can change resolution inside Unity.
It's not hard at all, it is included in the manual and it is ridiculously easy to find on the internet. Using Powerstrip it is just as easy to change your resolution. How would having a higher resolution change the difficulty in finding the native resolution? It seems like you guys are just making shit up to be honest

Very nice. In terms of finest details, the fabric elements could perhaps be further differentiated from one another for instance by giving one of them a visible texture (like a mesh fabric) - but only if the resolution/target art style allows of course. Also, more elements could benefit from graphic weathering similar to…

I personally love the game....think it's amazing. It's not some revolutionary title....but it is EXCELLENT. I find it a little funny that everyone is talking about the textures. I really get the feeling that the texture resolution was NOT a major concern on the devs minds here. Personally, as an artist, I really like the…
Well, I probably suck at giving advice for what you actually asked for, but there are time management techniques/apps/websites like Pomodoro that might help you to stay focused by breaking down your sessions into smaller bits with regular breaks. But looking at your model, it would probably help to plan ahead a bit more.…
