Congratulations on finishing your project. If your aim is to become a character artist then you are going to have to study and practice human anatomy, cloth, props, material, color composition and lighting. Good advice above! If you are just starting out then the first bit of advice is to practice human anatomy first. You can use Daz3D (free) as a reference while you work. -

I feel conflicted. The acting looks decent, the VO solid. It's mostly the rendering choice that's giving me hiccups since I have already a predisposition to not like that "Daz3D" look. But it works, I think. Barely, but it works. -

I planning for this to be apart of a movie poster pulp novel type collage illustration. It came out heavier than I wanted, but oh well onwards and upwards. I made the ref using daz3d, marvellous designer and blender. Also did this bit of fanart. -

Might give it a shot, if the program isn't that good, you can at least tell Daz3d you're not satisifed and they will refund your membership. From the demonstration videos it looks amazing, I just want to see if they're fibbing on the "one-click unwrap" feature. -

Maya is the first one that comes to mind, though after a bit I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad to use. Zbrush's UI is trash but I am enveloped in the trash at this point and my dumpster fire is quite cozy. The one soft I can say I hate is Daz3D it's just the worst. -
Newbie rigging/dynamics question.
Help needed! I've been trying to add dynamics to Daz3d's riggged model. Thing is a boob is controlled by a single ball-joint? Which on its own does excellent job but I was wondering if it is possible to make that single balljoint dynamic? Bouncy etc. Any help would be greatly apperciated! Thank you. -

Ak! Site went offline yesterday. What looks a little weird to me is the anatomy looks like its drawn on as opposed to actual mass. Here is a leg shot example. Daz3D is a great ref. This is just the legs but you could use it for the rest of yr character as well. Cheerio.
