I've been using biped and mocap data awhile now, and it works great for making game animations that usually are small loops and such that blend in-game for character animations. I have yet however, to find a good workflow for using mocap data to build entire scenes, like a pre-rendered battle sequence, using existing biped…
Same as Tumerboy I think the quicktime implementation is a bit roady like ;) Controls sometimes show sometimes dont. Also looping clips dont loop, which is a shame its whole reason ive bothered uploading quicktime ;)
quick new question, in Maya there is "pick walk", which basically, is after you selected an edge loop you can press left or right arrow key and it will select the next corresponding edge loop. Is there anything like that in Max?
You are trying to append to the UI element. You need to access the items property. append myDropdownlist.items test If you are adding items in a For loop. Sometimes you need to do this after the loop to make sure it refreshes myDropdownlist.items = myDropdownlist.items
and check out the edge above the large speaker (that starts in the right corner). Seems like a edge loop is doing weird things there. Also, the 4 rectangles sticking out on the smaller speaker, you are missing some edge loops there.
@musashidan But if you add control loops what es the reason of adjusting the crease of an edge ? I mean, adding simply control loops will make the edge more "sharp" in the smooth version so why to use the crease too?
Looking good, will try out soon! Btw: a simple version of Smart Edge Loop/Ring exists in Autodesks own Maya Bonus Tools (Select N-th Edge in Loop/Ring), yours seems better though.
Not to many overall, but A lot of areas where you can terminate loops like where the holes come from. You can terminate into a corner so you don't have all those supporting loops above and below
Brand-new to Modo and subd. If anyone can check the attached video and tell me how to add the appropriate loops without destroying curve continuity I'd be grateful and impressed. :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/qlz9lm6tz4k8z0h/Edge_Issue.mp4?dl=0 Thanks so much! _Mike
