Hey guys, I am working on this scene for a while. It still needs some love in mapping, texturing and lighting. Please feel free to give some critics. Next update will be the Vegetation maybe some tesselation on the tree trunks. Latest version:
Doing a gas dock/pier/baitshop based on a concept by Dan Wheaton (http://www.carbonmatter.com/). Terrain is just a quicky done with crysis terrain editor. Vegetation and terrain property of Crytek. Here's my current progress, all critiques and suggestions welcomed
Think I did alright for class, but as a portfolio piece it needs more work. *bevel edges near roof-line. *Improve grounding between the driveway and sidewalk *More vegetation would be nice. Any other suggestions?
Sure, wait for official word but this is a quote from the rules page: "The environment can feature any number of props, statues, vegetation, but no living character." Dead humans aren't living, AFAIK. :) EDIT : Hey, wait ... zombies ...
Working on a carnivorous plant that bites a player when they get too close for school. Zbrush progress shown below. Am going to have a kind of amorphous mound of vegetative matter with these sticking out all over the place. About 85% done with retopologizing it (not shown).
Looking fabulous! I really like the variation you have on the ground materials and vegetation. One suggestion for your darker, foggy lighting scenario. It could use some thicker fog evolving from the ground, kind of like this:
Hey, it looks great so far, great work on that door :D Just a suggestion, maybe adding some grass tufts near the stone steps? since they look old and derelict some small vegetation might be possible.
i dont think that cloth and buckets would survive long in the jungle you need to find more reference photos, add more towers stairs, more vegetation like grass sticking out from the floors etc
