I assume you are using Arnold? Mari just spits out a texture map, so what you see is what you get. It looks like texture filtering or a low resolution texture map that are giving you this error. You will have to verify inside Mari. Make sure you working in 16bit as well. Personally, displacement maps are overkill for this…
Another issue with mixing RGB and RGBA is that some compression formats sacrifice RGB quality to add the A channel. An RGBA texture will look worse than an RGB texture using PVRTC. Previous thread: https://polycount.com/discussion/161034/ios-pvrtc-compression-terribly-for-rgba

Definitely go for the IPS or E-IPS technology. Sitting as close to my monitor as I do 22 inch has always seemed fine to me. Everyone around me at work has 27 inch…
Left it running for around an hour and a half today and it's still frozen :/ Edit: Super quick update, lowered the samples from 16x to 4x and was able to bake in 4k without issue. Since I'm doing this on a laptop I'm getting a feeling this could possibly be hardware related since my HP is incredibly dense but I'm honestly…
Yea that's why i was asking what it was for. I didnt see any place for health or weapons or any kind of game play info. The whole thing just looks kinda generic to me. There are some cool things you could do with those radar screens (instead of those old school looking radars). Using references will go a long way.…
