imo CG isn't huge in Japan's hobby scene because they're drawing instead. It's something you can do anywhere if you have pen and paper. To do anything CG, by definition, you need a computer. So in class, you can draw doujinshi. Once you graduate, you're busy stressing over your actual job. I'm pretty sure that's why… -
