I have no complaints on 10. I should point out though its mining our data aggressively. While you can turn off some of the data catchers, others are built in. http://www.techworm.net/2015/07/by-downloading-windows-10-you-are-allowing-microsoft-to-spy-on-you.html
I think the one with the hatchet looks out of place. The Pandangerous image looks like he's some sort of spy or special agent... the one with the hatchet makes him look like a crazed murderer. The other two characters could fit into the special agaent theme. Cool images though.
Anyone knows if it's possible to do some kind of emissive/glow effect with just polypaint? I can't for the life of me find a way to do this. I tried the Colorizeglow material. But that one only renders in Best mode, which means the Materials Blend-radius slider has no effect on it, so it looks like crap. BPR doesn't seem…
Working on this T-Rex! I think the skin and overall shapes are pretty much done, now I just have to wrap up the eyes and pose, then render! I can't decide if I want to do a simple BPR render, or throw it in substance painter to add roughness variations and AO on the skin.
is that a BPR render or just a viewport capture? Overall the hockey puck looks good, you may want to define the text around the edges of puck a little more because it is barely noticeable. The built up ice around the puck could use some work, the noise texture on it looks too consistent.
Thanks guys! Thats a fine idea man... hmmm... Edit: Oh and before I forget the matcaps are Ralph Stumpf's Sculpy and Light Sculpy and rendered with Shift R (BPR) In zbrush. I still havent figured out all that fancy render stuff in zbrush.. one day...one day!
thanks, PredatorGSR for the script hotkey walkthru. :) I also just came across this: http://wiki.byronimo.de/pmwiki.php/Projects/BPT Perhaps it works well? I do appreciate all the advice and help, guys...getting more familiar with Maya, but man it sure makes me appreciate Silo for modeling. :D
Whats largely making them look the same is the cubemaps I have applied over everything also the same gloss applied globally. Im basically trying to hard to mimic some pbr system lol. Your probably right it would be much easier to define things with BPR. my graphics card isn't DX11 compatible though :( its the gtx275, ill…
Thanks guys. Kot_Leopold: Yeah it was a Zbrush render and later edited in photoshop. fabio brasilien: Haha you got me there, I just took the mask, moved it and blur :) I tried to follow the concept as much as possible which is why its like that. Well here is a BPR render of the sculpt and a GIF to show you how I actually…
