To me the concept looks like its built up almost completely of square stones. In that case, just go modular. sure there are different sizes and shapes and even a couple entrances. There's 2 different ways to approach this, depending on how you much memory you want to save (which shouldn't be the case since it will be for…
Max 2011. I am working through a tutorial by eat3D, and the project files it comes with the object is already fully unwrapped. That defeats the purpose of me purchasing this DVD. Is there a way I can removed the UVW unwrap the author already did? I tried reimporting it to a new scene and applying edit poly and collapsing.
Okay the work for the day. Thanks to @ZacD for that advice, I'm liking how this is looking much better now! I've added a little stone unreal guy in the middle. And the mountains now frame the castle which is my focal point. The colours of the flags have been intensified to draw more attention to them and through the scene.…
Hey all! For the last 2 years ive been at Gas Powered Games working on Age of Empires Online. I primarily handled the low poly modeling of almost every unit after GPG took on the project. I figured I would share the work I did with everyone. I will be updating my blog and this page with the work within the coming weeks so…
I know this probaby isn't your focus at the moment, but just a tip for later on. I'd really try to sell the connection point between the second tower (the one without the rockets) and the ground. You could maybe add another little tier or layer a the bottom, or just turn the surrounding ground into stone work. Barring…
Could we see the textures maps? It'd be easier to critique with them. Right now it seems the stones are having some texture stretching issues on the lower part of the moon well. The harsh lines and strong contrast in the bark of the trees is very distracting. Tone down the contrast. You can also throw in some random colors…
I think your rubble columns are coming along pretty good but I think there are just a few areas that you might want to watch out for because right now I think it kind of looks like it is made of wood and an animal has chewed it apart instead of being a crumbling stone/cement column. In the image below I pointed out the…
Man Removes His Own Kidney Stone 12/02/2004 An unemployed Bosnian performed kidney stone surgery on himself because he did not have any money to pay medical bills. Emir Javoras, 29, from Javor, used a razor blade and needle to remove the stones, news agency Fena reported. Javoras said: "I woke up in the middle of the night…
Secondary and dressing assets sourced from Quixel Megascans and Unreal Marketplace. Ivy, vegetation and debris - integrated and adjusted to match the scene's tone and weathering.
josh_lynch these tiles are really coming along! The way you have the dirt laying into the stone indents is reading really well. And the slight difference in the spec on both the blue and neutral tiles goes a long way. Only thing that seems to pop out to me at all would be the grout. It's reading a bit like an outline due…
